Art & Design College Admission Advising

Art & Design Educational Advisors, LLC, provides personalized, objective
college admission advising specifically for the unique needs of art and
design students who want to earn a degree from an outstanding art college
or university program.

We work with students considering either an undergraduate

or a graduate program in art or design.

Students who want careers as visual artists or designers often struggle

when choosing the best college for their interests and goals. Our advising

services, which bring a highly informed and objective perspective to the

process, can be very beneficial to students and their parents trying to

sort through their many different college options.

We want our students to attend outstanding college

art and design programs—ones that will meet their needs

and will help them reach their goals.

Most art and design programs say they are excellent—and many are.

However, there are numerous factors to consider when evaluating an
undergraduate or graduate art and design program. It can be difficult for
students and parents to discern programs’ real strengths and weaknesses.

Even a clearly outstanding program—one that is highly selective and
that has outstanding faculty, facilities and reputation—is not going to be a

good choice for every student.

Unfortunately, some students do not realize they are not at a college that
is well suited to their needs and goals until they have already invested
a significant amount of time and money. At that point their options are to

remain at the college just to complete their degree—or to transfer to

another college, one that better suits their needs even though the move
will likely add an additional semester or two in time and cost to their
education.

We want our students to get just as much as they possibly
can out of their college education.

ADEA managing partner Patricia Boman works personally with each

student and their parents to help them make the best possible educational

decisions they can each step of the way.

After carefully assessing their needs and goals, she provides current,
objective information about programs that are good matches for them
and that will provide the outstanding education essential for building a
successful career.

Portfolio Development: If the college art program has a selective
admissions process that requires a portfolio, Patricia will work with the
student to guide him or her as they build their strongest possible portfolio.

ADEA is pleased to work with clients worldwide. By using a
